About the Role
IIF needs to convey the story of the Human Capital Initiative to the public. We are in need of storytellers and video designers to turn our story into an engaging video. We are looking for a few volunteers to help bring this project to life.
Requirements
Video Designer Responsibilities:
Meet with CEO and Storytellers to determine production vision.
Work with Storytelling to create a video based upon the outline / script.
Create / Find raw material to determine shot list.
Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques.
Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value.
Trimming footage and putting together the rough project.
Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence.
Consulting with the Director and production team throughout the project.
Creating the final cut for broadcasting.
Storytelling Responsiblities:
Meet with CEO and Video Designers to determine production vision.
Be a great storyteller. Read like a writer. Work seamlessly with Video Designers to marry words and images. Be a quick study of communications trends. Grab the reader’s attention and keep it. Turn complex ideas in clear and simple language. Avoid cliché, hyperbole and jargon.
